Most goods have to be certified before entering the Russian Market with the GOST R certification.

There are several types of certification regarding the type of business you will be doing in Russia:

Two different types of certificate can be issued:

• Delivery (certificate issued only for one specific delivery of goods)

• Production (certificate issued for the whole production for a specific time period: 1, 2 OR 3 years)

Besides GOST-R, there are also other kinds of certificates required for certain types of products:

• Dangerous machinery (Rostechnadzor)

• Medicinal devices (Registrace Minzdravu RF)

• Textile (Hygienic certificate)

Turnaround time: 1 month after we receive samples and documentation for testing.
